She later built and ran multi-site departments of up to forty people, redesigning how the firm resolved its most complex client situations. Under her leadership, client resolution time dropped from roughly nine business days to four, and cost per client fell year over year.
Her work was measured in how well families protected and grew what they had.
She took a year to travel, then became a full-time caregiver and foster parent. That stretch clarified what she wanted to spend the rest of her working life doing.
